Geomancy: The science of landscape
This ancient knowledge, the “natural knowing” provides insight into which subtle energies and power flows in and around the Earth influence our existence.
By transforming and balancing different types of energies, a positive, vitalized environment is created.
By working with the symbiotic relationship between water and air, it creates a higher energy and a positive change in and on both the land and any building on it. This approach has been known throughout the ages as Feng Shui in China and Fu Sui in Japan and has been considered a science for over 6,000 years.
We work with all three aspects of Feng Shui. These are:
• The science of landscape. Represented by the water dragon and the mountain dragon. We look at what role the actual geography of the land plays in building placement.
• The science of landclearing, or geomancy. This is where we reveal and harmonise the imprints that have been there since ancient times.
• The placement or implementation of elements zsuch as wood, water, fire, etc. in order to negate excess energy or bring in desired energy. An example of this would be the correct placement of a water feature, to enhance the air and attract a feeling of vital life.
